The deployment of cellular infrastructure in urban environments faces two major challenges: ensuring 24-hour network availability and mitigating the visual impact on cities. Función Digital implemented a specialized service providing technical support and aesthetic solutions for radio base stations (RBS).

Project Objectives:

• RBS Specialized Maintenance: Performing preventive and corrective maintenance routines at radio base stations to prevent critical transmission failures.
  
• Implementation of Camouflaged Sites: Design and installation of camouflaged telecommunications structures (such as artificial palm trees or structures integrated into building facades) to comply with municipal aesthetic regulations.
  
• Optimization of the Technical Environment: Cleaning, upgrading internal power systems, and organizing the cabling in the RBS cabinets.

Signal continuity was ensured in densely populated urban areas, and the approval of new sites was facilitated through the use of camouflaged infrastructure that blends seamlessly into the urban landscape.
