State-of-the-art, high-density data centers require a seamless perimeter and internal security design. Función Digital led the comprehensive deployment of low-voltage systems, connectivity, and advanced physical security systems for a hyperscale technology complex comprising 12 phases and corporate areas in Spain, operating under stringent service level agreements (SLAs) for global infrastructure contractors.

Project Objectives:

• Connectivity and Optical Backbone: Installation and termination of high-speed internal fiber-optic cables and structured cabling for security networks, corporate Wi-Fi systems, and critical electrical devices.
• Network Certification and Auditing: Technical testing and certification of 100% of network points and fiber-optic links to ensure optimal bandwidth free of attenuation.
• Large-Scale Video Surveillance System: Installation, cabling, and commissioning of a closed-circuit television (CCTV) system consisting of more than 550 high-definition fixed cameras and 30 PTZ domes to provide full coverage.
• Security and Automated Access Control: Installation of 20 main control panels (ACP), assembly and integration of 220 distribution panels (ADP) to intelligently manage access to 220 restricted doors using advanced readers and electromagnetic locks.
• Advanced Perimeter Detection and Monitoring: Deployment of 40 perimeter intrusion radars with dedicated channels and full equipment for a centralized control room with 20 high-resolution monitors for real-time operational management.

The deployment was successfully completed within 12 months, coordinated by a specialized, high-performance technical team (1 General Supervisor, 3 Field Supervisors, and 10 Installation Technicians). The infrastructure implemented ensures complete traceability of incoming data and 24-hour predictive monitoring against physical threats.
