For mission-critical data centers, interconnection speed is the factor that determines overall performance. Función Digital led a highly complex technical project for a leading cloud services company, focused on the internal communication infrastructure of its technical rooms.

Project Objectives:

• Backbone deployment: State-of-the-art fiber optic installation for high-speed interconnection between racks.
  
• Cross-Connect: Establishment of direct physical links between technical rooms (Colo) to minimize latency.
  
• Link Certification: Technical verification of each connection point to ensure that the bandwidth meets the requirements for massive data traffic.

This project eliminated bottlenecks in the Data Center’s internal communication, allowing a smooth and secure data transfer, vital for the support of high-demand applications.
